Today, Inside Higher Ed published a compelling article raising the question, “Should academic support services be mandatory?” They referenced a study from the Center for Community College Student Engagement. The study, supported by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, among others, analyzed a broad spectrum of data concerning student success in community colleges.

Amber Harrelson joins GradesFirst!

Amber Harrelson, a native of Hazel Green, Alabama, graduated from Auburn University in May of 2011 with a major in Communication and a minor in Spanish. War Eagle! She is a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church and enjoys reading, writing, dancing and all things coffee-related.
